I found your site through a comment on someone’s Flickr page. My fiance and I have partially restored a 1957 Westerner travel trailer made by Westfield. We purchased it two years ago and have done some restoration to the interior mostly. We’ve decorated the trailer with a western theme and as much vintage items from the 1950’s as we could find. It’s really cute and people just love it when we take her camping. We love to show her off and give a tour to a passerby. We named her Daisy and she has all of the original curtains, tile, formica and upholstery. Thanks. It would be great if you could share our experience with others.
Hi just found you. I have a 1972 vintage travel trailer called The Pearl(full name Nora Pearl). I already have a website for her and she was just featured in Romantic Country’s magazine summer issue. http://www.vintagecottagecamper.blogspot.com You are welcome to feature Nora Pearl here, just let me know when you do! thanks Happy Glamping.
Kerry,
Thank you for your comment and I’m glad you found us! I looked at Nora Pearl and she is a gem!!
I’ll try and feature her right away!!!
My hubby bought a late 60’s to early 70’s Frolic years ago. The poor gal sat all alone and neglected until a week ago when I announced I needed a summer project. We towed her up to our back yard and the fun has begun! I am a lover of all things retro and it only made sense to bring her back to life. I have a long list of “to do’s”. I took before pics, and pics of the work in progress – so please stay tuned! I love your site – it’s so much fun. Thanks for fueling my inspiration
Hi Eileen! Thanks for writing and telling me about your camper!! How exciting!! Let me know when you post pics and the fun begins
