About

Welcome all you vintage camper/ RV fans! I’m Rene’ a very blessed wife and mother. My husband and I both grew up around all these fun campers and motorhomes at our family dealerships. Over the years I’ve developed a love for vintage campers ….not only do they bring back such great memories…they are just plain awesome!! I am dedicating this blog in honor of my Dad and Father-in-law who passed away recently.  They took care of our families by pouring themselves into the RV industry for many years. A lot of the Airstream and vintage campers you see today, they sold new.  They left behind a Godly heritage… along with a love for family, friends, country and campers!

I hope you have fun looking around! Please feel free to share any tips, advice, or friendly comments. I’d love to hear from you.  Simply click the contact button and you’ll find our email address, or leave a comment at the end of a blog post.  I’m still in the process of adding info and will be updating it regularly.

Check out this new Airstream motorhome my husband and his groomsmen used during our wedding back in 1985….his dad was brave to let them use it :) Little did we know how popular Airstreams would become at weddings today, or we would have used it in some wedding shots. BTW.I would LOVE to redo a vintage Airstream  like the one in the pic!

first, I would like to get one of these and fix it up or get one already done. How do I do this? Second, I would like to know if there is a particular place where all these cute little campers congregate together. I am especially interested in a location to get away from the cold of winter. Is there a campground or something that “specializes” in these cuties…? and where is it..

Thank you and happy holidays

I have had several, but now have an odd fellow called a campfire camper, 1970ish, aits a model 1850, also resurrected a 78 Argosy and had a 4000 mile argosy in it this summer. very good work here, if anyone has info on the campfire units I am interested!! there is a lot of joy in a rolling wonder of real estate. God bless America, and may we have our own gas to burn in years to come! JH

Hi,
Your Serro Scotty sounds amazing! I’m not positive on where you can find the lamps. I would try ebay or check with http://www.vintagecampers.com or http://www.vintagetrailers.com Hope they can assist you! Best wishes!
